I am a grassroots organizer dedicated to my community and determined to fight for equality, improved health opportunities and access for the  underserved communities. We need a return to true servant leadership that is people first and politics second. We need leadership that is accessible and responds to its constituents. As a Latina, I have had to fight for everything I have accomplished and I am used to being underestimated. Being underestimated is my super power and an advantage.
